Marian Brown, PhD alum from the School of Global Inclusion and Social Development, founded Arts Connect International, an organization that works to build equity and inclusion through the arts in Boston.

In partnership with HipStory and with support from the Mass Cultural Council, Art Connect International has created the Cultural Equity Learning Community (CELC). The CELC is a 2-unit, 12-module, asynchronous anti-racism course with wrap-around supports open to arts and culture leaders committed to building intersectional racial equity and working toward cultural equity and creative justice.

The CELC offers affinity tracks for queer, trans, Black, Indigenous, and person of color arts leaders and white arts leaders, both featuring lectures, guided reflections, guest speakers, featured artists, office hours, peer-to-peer learning, and additional resources.

CELC has opened registration for both anti-racism courses for this July and September. Help CELC spread the word through your networks!
